The President has every right to speak to the children of the country. Its a good opportunity [if taken advantage of] to have a smart discussion about politics and how our government in general works. Sadly I feel people who are attempting to boycott the speech show an indefensible overreaction and will be looked upon rather silly.
If parents are that concerned with his speech, watch it with them. Ask schools if you can go and view it with your kids. Tivo it and wait until you all get home. There are many options available. Man up parents… take the challenge head on and discuss with your kids your concerns. Listen to them and see what they think. The words are only as harmful as you allow them to be.
